Agua de Luz Wall Hanging
This handwoven and hand dyed wall hanging evokes light shimmering on the water. Featuring an inlaid overshot design with the encoded words “Agua de Luz”, (Water of Light) This piece was inspired by the view from my weaving studio which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Water and light have been highly inspiring to me for years and this piece is the culmination of many smaller studies in capturing water and light in woven fabric.
Mounted on a bamboo dowel and ready to hang. This piece can be viewed from either side. Woven of very fine tencel, cotton and silk yarns.
